Our company was founded in 1954. In the early days of the company, fittings were produced by aluminium chill casting. At the start of the 1980s, zinc die-casting became an established part of production. Shortly afterwards, production was expanded to include the field of aluminium die-casting. Our successful company development is still shaped by a balanced relationship between tradition and progress. Today, we supply our discerning customer base across Europe – in industrial and medical technology, mechanical engineering and the automotive, construction and furniture industries – with products made by aluminium die-casting, zinc die-casting and aluminium chill casting. With our core competence in the areas of aluminium and zinc die-casting, as well as aluminium chill casting, our customers receive daily support in producing and supplying ready-to-install casting components.

TRACTO-TECHNIK develops, produces and sells machines and accessories for underground installation and replacement of pipelines. This trenchless NODIG technology can be used in the manufacture of pipeline networks for water, gas, electricity, telecommunications, district heating, fibre optic cable networks and in the waste water disposal industry. Customers for these special machines mostly come from the civil engineering and specialist civil engineering sectors, although these also include suppliers and network operators. TT values first class manufacturing quality in all production processes. As early as the material procurement stage, TT will seek out suppliers of the highest level of quality. Steel in particular is subject to the strict quality controls which are easily visible throughout the entire production process. The most modern manufacturing technology, highly precise CNC-controlled machining centres turn, drill, mill and grind the workpieces into shape.

Thanks to more than 60 years of concentrated further development of our core business, our company now specialises in producing grids and meshes of all kinds for our customers. We provide products both for retail and directly for end customers. Our company was founded in 1945 as a metalworking company with subdivisions for fencing and door construction. Even in its early years, the company incorporated a small mechanical engineering department, in order to design wire processing machines for in-house use. In the 1970s, wire weaving developed into an equally important source of income for the company. In 1978, the first fully automatic production facility for corrugated grids and stamping grids was built, the company relocated to Erkrath and new markets were opened up thanks to the company concentrating on manufacturing wire meshes. In 1995, the product range was expanded to include spot-welded grids and profile edgings. Manufacturing is now carried out on four fully automated production lines.
