Functional surfaces have become increasingly important since 1950. From that moment on, Peter Schreiber KG specialised in hard-chrome plating and the machining of hard-chrome plated and metal surfaces. Today, the company is one of the best-performing companies in its sector whose expertise is put to use in the diverse industrial branches. The patented Tfe-Lok® coating led to the founding of Tfe-Lok® Peter Schreiber GmbH in 1988. The development of numerous process variants has led to solutions in the most diverse fields of application worldwide.

With over 25 years of experience and expertise, we have specialised in aluminium surface finishing in particular and are certified under DIN ISO 9001. We provide various technologies, such as oxidation and anodisation, both colourlessly and in dip dyeing in a continuously available large selection of colours. Our services include partial finishing for aluminium components as a combined process of chromatising and oxidising and anodising, as well as chromatising in yellow and REACH-compliant colourless passivation for aluminium with SurTec 650. Furthermore, our services also include pickling, passivating and electro-polishing stainless steel. At our modern plant, we can process components with dimensions of 2000 mm in length, 600 mm in width and 1000 mm in depth. Strict adherence to delivery dates, flexibility and quality set us apart and form the foundation of our excellent reputation amongst our national and international customers. In our company, HFP Bandstahl in Bad Salzungen, we now look back on more than 100 years of experience in cold rolling and almost 150 years in the metal business. With over 250 employees, it is also our largest location. Cold-rolled steel strips in accordance with EN 10139/10140 in market standard grades, rolled to any strength class, with thicknesses between 0.20 and 2.50 mm and widths between 4 and 525 mm. Cold-rolled case-hardening steel, heat-treated steel and spring steel in accordance with EN 10132 T1-4/10140 in market standard grades, strength classes G or G + K, with thicknesses between 0.20 and 1.80 mm and widths between 10 and 370 mm. Surface finish: Normal bright annealed, custom roughened or polished as well as crack-free and non-porous, level-wound coils, stretched ultra-flat and/or degreased.

The innovative combination of heat, blasting, straightening, milling and planing processes at the EZM profile machining plant in Rohr/Thüringen represent a cost-effective alternative able to compete with traditional manufacturing technologies.

The foundation stone for our medium-sized family company was laid down by our two founding company directors Manfred and Thomas Eckardt. In 2002, we celebrated our company's anniversary; 25 years of standing for reliability, good service, continuity and growth. In mid 2001, our Company Director Manfred Eckardt died.
