FALCÃO FIBRAS (António Falcão + Fitexar Textile), founded in 1957 and a 100% Portuguese company, is recognized as one of the largest producers of tights and socks. Based in Barcelos, it now belongs to the António Falcão family. The dynamism, quality and expertise acquired in the last 6 decades enabled FALCÃO FIBRAS to implement the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) in 1997, as well as to certify all its products with the Oeko-Tex 100 and GRS Standards. In 2017, the two companies started a sustainability and environmental awareness project with a focus on innovative and value-added yarns that make our product unique and differentiating in the market. Organic and recycled biodegradable products are examples that correspond to an increasingly GREEN trend. In our philosophy, the key to success is continuous improvement! And throughout the 65 years of our history, we have always invested and sought to be at the forefront of innovation. One of our main focuses today is sustainability and we strongly believe that the future will be based on this issue. We already use clean energy in our manufacturing, we recycle products and we have invested in innovative products such as biodegradable yarns. We have 2, 500 photovoltaic panels on the roof of our factory and we already have electric cars for our salespeople.
