Based in Barcelos, it now belongs to the António Falcão family. The dynamism, quality and expertise acquired in the last 6 decades enabled FALCÃO FIBRAS to implement the Quality Management System (ISO 9001) in 1997, as well as to certify all its products with the Oeko-Tex 100 and GRS Standards. In 2017, the two companies started a sustainability and environmental awareness project with a focus on innovative and value-added yarns that make our product unique and differentiating in the market. Organic and recycled biodegradable products are examples that correspond to an increasingly GREEN trend. In our philosophy, the key to success is continuous improvement! And throughout the 65 years of our history, we have always invested and sought to be at the forefront of innovation. Based in the north of Portugal, MPM TEXTILES has spent over 20 years developing and manufacturing high-quality textile products for hotels and interior decoration such as household linen, bath linen, fabrics for the hotel sector, spa centres, beauty salons, thalassotherapy, balneotherapy and clothing. MPM TEXTILES specialises in the manufacture of luxury bed linen, such as 120/2x120/2 and 185x91 sheets in 100% 600-thread Egyptian cotton, and polyamide/spandex T-shirts with UV protection 50. We manufacture our products locally: towels, sheets, tablecloths, blackout curtains, curtains, carpets, bedspreads, quilts, towels for spas, towels for manicures, disposable slippers, sponge turbans, bathrobes, elasticated pareos for spas, masks and eye-patches, tunics, covers for massage beds. We also provide weaving, finishing, dyeing, washing, printing, embroidery, tailoring and packaging services as well as all types of textile accessories: zip fasteners, threads, eyelets, drawstrings, labels, etc. Our aim is to develop tailor-made and personalised textile products, provide samples and deliver orders quickly throughout Europe by diversifying our product range and the variety of raw materials we use (cotton, flax, modal, bamboo, polyester, viscose). Our textile manufacturing factory is located in Portugal and specializes in the production of knitted clothing for babies, children, women and men. The company was created in 2008, is located in the north of Portugal, and currently has 68 workers based in an area of 2, 000 mts2. From the beginning we have worked almost exclusively for Finland but we intend to expand the markets and customer base. We hold the Oeko Trex Class 1 certification.
