As a family-managed business, we have been offering chemical-technical consultancy and the trade of thermoset materials, silicone elastomers and chemical specialties for plastic-processing companies, as well as products for the casting industry, since 1949. As a producer of binding agents based on furan/phenolic and alkyd resin as well as the corresponding hardeners for cast steel, we have been supplying the casting industry ever since our company was founded. As an exclusive representative of well-known producers in the composite industry, we deal in a wide range of chemical specialties for use in the most varied areas of application – including: • Epoxy and polyester resin systems • Epoxy prepregs • Liquid silicone rubber • Adhesives • Halogen-free flame retardants • Graphene • Reinforcement materials (glass rovings, mats, fabrics). • We also offer room-temperature-curing and liquid silicones for use in sealants and moulding compounds, and for applications in medical technology, health care and the electrical industry (liquid silicone rubber). Collaboration with our partner companies in particular allows us to be in dialogue with important and innovative plastic-processing companies, and to work together on new developments and projects. We supply both the basic raw materials and special additives, which we optimise together with our suppliers and customers so that they're customised depending on the application.

PROGRESS SILICONES designs, manufactures and sells silicone parts for the most demanding industries. Sectors, such as: the food industry, nuclear power, cosmetics, aeronautics, pharmaceuticals and biomedical. From single parts to mass production, we create all types of moulded parts, overmoulding, extrusion, co-extrusion, manufacturing and cutting. All our production can be associated with specific marking and packing operations, according to your specifications. We are equipped with 2 Clean Rooms covering 550 m2 classed ISO 7 and ISO 8, adapted to the manufacture of medical and pharmaceutical products. Our quality management system is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified.

The name ELMET quickly became associated with high-quality and innovative tools. If the systems and components available on the market are not suitable for an optimum LIM process, ELMET will find the perfect solution through its own in-house developments. The TOP 3000 S dosing system, which is now in its second generation, should be highlighted here. Although the system was developed back in 2003, it has remained the benchmark for the injection moulding of liquid silicones thanks to numerous further developments and the integration of innovative functions since its launch. This makes ELMET a specialist in and partner for the latest technologies in the processing and dosing of liquid silicones and LSR elastomer production in Austria.
