The EZM Edelstahlzieherei Mark manufactures drawn, sanded and polished bright steel using the cold deformation process and standard profiles and custom profiles according to customer drawings in almost all steel materials. Our high quality products usually end up being used in system and mechanical engineering, the automotive industry and in medical and energy technology. Drum dyeing machines and spring production machines from the brand Proll & Lohmann as well as heat and chemical surface treatment from the brand BAK are manufactured at EZM Edelstahlzieherei Mark's Werdohl plant. Among other things, the EZM metal working and service GmbH makes spindle bearings, straightening machines for round and profile materials with powered straightening rolls as well as custom orders. The innovative combination of heat, blasting, straightening, milling and planing processes at the EZM profile machining plant in Rohr/Thüringen represent a cost-effective alternative able to compete with traditional manufacturing technologies.

Energietechnik Essen GmbH – a member of the Georgsmarienhütte Group – bases its capabilities and skills on continuous research and development as well as on experience reaching back to 1811. The Energietechnik Essen GmbH develops, produces and supplies safety-relevant high-tech products, mainly for manufacturers of power generation machinery. When the first turbo-generator was built at the start of the 20th century, the Essen-based company supplied the retaining rings. Retaining rings are placed on the ends of the rotors to fix the copper coil against the centrifugal forces created by the high rotational speeds. The oldest documents in the company's archive relating to non-magnetisable retaining rings date back to 1901. Energietechnik Essen GmbH uses two remelting units, one electroslag remelting unit and one pressurised electroslag remelting unit, to produce the materials for retaining rings.

In our company, HFP Bandstahl in Bad Salzungen, we now look back on more than 100 years of experience in cold rolling and almost 150 years in the metal business. With over 250 employees, it is also our largest location. Cold-rolled steel strips in accordance with EN 10139/10140 in market standard grades, rolled to any strength class, with thicknesses between 0.20 and 2.50 mm and widths between 4 and 525 mm. Cold-rolled case-hardening steel, heat-treated steel and spring steel in accordance with EN 10132 T1-4/10140 in market standard grades, strength classes G or G + K, with thicknesses between 0.20 and 1.80 mm and widths between 10 and 370 mm. Surface finish: Normal bright annealed, custom roughened or polished as well as crack-free and non-porous, level-wound coils, stretched ultra-flat and/or degreased.
