Goudsmit shows their recently developed range of mobile overband magnets. The modularly designed magnets remove iron particles from underlying material streams and are intended for mobile recycling systems such as shredders, crushers and screens. The magnetic separators are constructed with either Ferrite or Neodymium magnets, with the latter being upgraded from a 2-pole to a 3-pole system. This modified design provides a stronger magnetic field from the same number of magnets.

The new magnetic separator recently introduced to the market by Goudsmit Magnetics removes metal particles from soy powder, among other things. The Easy Cleanflow magnetic separator can be placed under the vibrating sieve to remove minuscule metal particles and weakly magnetic stainless steel wear particles from 30 µm from various powders, including soy powder. It is also a control tool that assures the producer that they are delivering a clean product.

The newly developed magnetic sheet separators are made of very strong Neodymium Iron Boron magnets and can be switched on and off pneumatically. Pneumatic separators separate stacked steel sheets, which makes it possible for a robot to lift them one by one from the stack. When such separatos are not used, the oiled sheets stick together and sometimes the robot lifts two sheets at the same time, after which either one is dropped or two sheets are placed together, for example, in a press. This can cause considerable damage.

This magnetic gripper which is used for picking up or holding items such as punched steel parts, blanks and perforated steel sheet in robotic applications in the automotive industry. The ultralight magnetic gripper is fitted with permanent magnets and can be used in grippers on robot arms. The magnets can be switched on and off pneumatically. This enables the system to pick up and transport even very thin steel sheets one at a time. The rubber pad at the end ensures that the work piece does not slide during vertical pick-up and prevents the work piece from being damaged. This easily installable system is already in use by a number of large car manufacturers.
