ORAFOL Fresnel Optics GmbH is a manufacturer of micro-structured polymer optics based in Apolda (Thuringia, Germany). The company was founded in 1991 and evolved into a leading specialist for polymer Fresnel lenses and similar products (e.g. fresnel prisms, diffusors and microlens arrays) in a wide range of sizes for a multitute of applications. Our components are used in industrial image processing systems, optical sensors, lighting, display technology, automotive and solar energy among others. With more than 30 years of experience we stand for the efficient realization of our customers' ideas and requirements. We offer both the production and adaption of standard products as well as the entire development of customer-specific solutions including the high volume production of microstructured optical polymer components and sub-assemblies. We possess integrated development and manufacturing skills, including optical design and tool manufacturing as well as precise polymer replication based on hot stamping and injection stamping. A wide range of finishing processes, including a variety of anti-reflective coatings and nano-structuring as well as the most cutting-edge equipment for hard coating, metal coating, printing technologies, CNC milling systems and final inspection systems complete or capabilities.
